Why This Role Matters

DevOps at Personify Health isn’t just about keeping the lights on — it’s about making every engineering team faster without sacrificing reliability or security. As a DevOps Engineer I, you maintain and evolve the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational practices that underpin a platform real members depend on. What you build and automate directly affects how quickly and safely product features reach production.

What You'll Actually Do

Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure: Own day-to-day management of AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scaling, cost optimization, and automation — using Terraform to provision and maintain resources as code.

Support CI/CD pipelines: Support and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines aligned with branching strategies and quality assurance requirements across multiple engineering teams.

Bring new services into production: Collaborate with developers to transition new features and services through to production safely and efficiently.

Develop operational runbooks: Build and maintain runbooks that standardize operational practices, reduce incident response time, and improve team consistency.

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems: Work in production environments focused on performance, availability, and scalability — applying log management and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.

Drive continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks, evangelize best practices, and continuously improve infrastructure, tooling, and processes across the team.

Evaluate emerging technologies: Stay current on new tools, technologies, and strategies — prototyping and integrating them into workflows where they add real value.

What You Bring to Our Team

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years of experience in enterprise DevOps or software development
• Prior experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries preferred

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipeline creation and support
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with AWS including infrastructure management, security, and networking
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, YAML, Linux, and Windows technologies
• Experience working in production environments focused on web service performance, availability, and scalability
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Azure or GCP cloud platform experience a strong plus
