Why This Role Matters
Most companies are still figuring out what AI-native engineering actually looks like in practice. This role builds it. As the Sr. Lead Software Engineer on the AI Enablement team, you set the technical direction for the Agentic Development Platform — designing the agents, patterns, and tooling that change how Personify Health's engineers work every day. The impact isn't limited to one team or one product; it scales across the entire software development lifecycle.
What You'll Actually Do
Lead the Agentic Development Platform: Own the technical implementation end-to-end — designing and building AI agents and developer productivity capabilities that integrate directly into engineering workflows across the SDLC.
Set engineering patterns and standards: Establish the architecture, technical standards, and best practices that other engineers follow when building AI-native developer tooling.
Drive architecture and roadmap decisions: Represent the AI Enablement team's engineering perspective in cross-team architecture discussions, influencing technical direction beyond your immediate scope.
Identify and eliminate workflow inefficiencies: Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to surface development pain points and implement scalable, AI-assisted solutions.
Mentor engineers on AI adoption: Guide engineers through hands-on technical mentorship, accelerating AI adoption and elevating the team's overall capability in building with LLMs and AI tooling.
Own complex problem resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot difficult technical issues across internal tooling and platform services, driving them to resolution.
Contribute to sprint planning and grooming: Help prioritize and refine technical initiatives, define implementation details, and keep delivery moving with clarity and focus
