Why This Role Matters

Client retention in health and wellbeing isn't passive — it's built through consistent execution, proactive strategy, and relationships where clients trust your judgment. This role manages a book of existing clients while onboarding new ones, connecting day-to-day account activities to the engagement outcomes and ROI that determine whether clients stay, grow, and refer.

 

What You'll Actually Do

 

Own the client relationship end-to-end: Manage daily relationship activities for assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact from onboarding through ongoing program delivery and renewal.

Monitor and improve engagement performance: Track campaign and member engagement results, identify trends, and develop strategies in collaboration with the commercial team to improve program outcomes and client ROI.

Drive flawless program execution: Manage year-round client program plans, coordinate with project management, configuration, and business analyst teams, and ensure all program components are delivered on time.

Advocate for clients internally: Represent client needs and feedback across internal departments, partnering cross-functionally to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.

Maintain client management systems: Keep Gainsight, Salesforce, Confluence, Jira, and other internal tools current and accurate — and train clients on tool utilization as needed.

Support new client implementations: Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure smooth onboarding and successful launches for new accounts.

Communicate roadmap and solutions: Present platform capabilities, engagement strategies, and product updates to clients clearly and with context tied to their specific goals.

 

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Team

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • 3+ years of direct account management experience with primary accountability for overall client relationships
  • Background in healthcare (health plan or hospital system), insurance, or financial services — particularly in compliance, risk, or governance
  • Prior experience implementing marketing or engagement solutions across multiple channels a plus

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Gainsight, Salesforce, Confluence, and/or Jira
