Responsibilities

Ready To Drive Seamless EDI Implementations Across Health Plans, Clients, and Internal Teams?

Why This Role Matters

When data feeds break or implementations stall, clients feel it — and so do their members. As Project Manager, Data Operations, you're the connective tissue between external partners, account teams, and the internal teams doing the technical work. You keep EDI implementations on track from requirements through go-live and beyond.

This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and client-facing execution — and getting it right directly protects the data integrity that our health plan partners and their members depend on.

What You'll Actually Do

Manage implementations end-to-end: Own project delivery for inbound and outbound data feeds — 834, 837, COB, accumulator files, and proprietary eligibility and claims EDI processes — from requirements gathering through file spec development, execution, and post-launch monitoring.

Configure and validate EDI connections: Coordinate with internal and external partners, healthcare providers, and payors to confirm all EDI connections are set up correctly, and drive resolution when they're not.

Define and document requirements: Develop EDI specifications, confirm they meet client needs, and validate with both internal and external stakeholders before implementation begins.

Navigate benefits changes: Manage transitions when clients modify their benefits structure, keeping data flows accurate and disruption minimal throughout the change.

Keep stakeholders informed: Deliver consistent project status updates, milestone tracking, and KPI reporting to business leaders, account managers, clients, and their benefits partners.

Identify and clear blockers: Surface project risks early, assess impact, and coordinate resolution across the teams needed to close them.

Improve how data operations runs: Identify gaps in existing processes and workflows and implement changes that make implementation and ongoing operations more reliable.
