Who are you?

The Proposal Team Lead will play a crucial role in managing a team of proposal coordinators in Bosnia, overseeing the end-to-end production of RFPs and RFI projects. This position requires a dynamic leader who can collaborate closely with US Proposal Management to ensure the development of high-quality, winning proposal documents. The Proposal Team Lead will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork while driving efficiency and adherence to deadlines.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

Team Leadership:

a. Participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring proposal coordinators, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and competencies.

b. Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular performance evaluations.

2. Proposal Management:

a. Oversee the complete proposal development process, including planning, drafting, editing and handoff of RFPs and RFIs (hand off to US Proposal Managers or pursuit team.)

b. Ensure all proposals are compliant with client requirements and align with organizational standards.

c. Manage proposal process and review and approval proposal plans/timelines from the team.

3. Collaboration:

a. Partner with US Proposal Managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.

b. Facilitate communication between the Bosnia team and US teams to ensure alignment on proposal strategies and timelines.

4. Quality Assurance:

a. Implement quality control measures to ensure proposals are accurate (all questions answered accurately), compelling and free of errors.

b. Review and provide feedback on proposal drafts, ensuring clarity and impact

5. Process Improvement:

a. Identify and implement best practices for proposal development, fostering continuous improvement in processes and tools.

b. Monitor proposal metrics and outcomes to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

6. Client Engagement

a. Assist in developing relationships with US Proposal Managers and pursuit teams through participation in proposal presentations and strategy sessions.

b. Understand client needs and preferences to tailor proposals effectively.

What you bring to the Personify Health Team:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Master’s degree or professional certification in proposal management or related areas is preferred
• TPA and Well-Being experience preferred
• Understanding of selling cycle and stages – commercial experience

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

• Strong understanding of proposal development processes, including RFP and RFI management
• Familiarity with industry trends and best practice in proposal management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Proficient in Project Management (PM), PM tools, proposal software (e.g.: Loopio)
• Strong sense of urgency and adherence to sensitive deadlines
