Who are you?

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting data workflows and reporting capabilities within a healthcare claims system. You’ll work independently to develop and maintain backend components, with a strong focus on ETL processes, SQL performance, and report generation.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

• Fluency in C#/.NET with strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, applied to supporting and enhancing ETL processes that power healthcare claims data pipelines
• Proficiency in writing and tuning complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Experience with report writing using SQL stored procedures and SSRS

• Familiarity with healthcare domain knowledge, including claims processing and data standards
• Understanding of EDI standards (e.g., X12 837, 835) and how they relate to healthcare data integration
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other source control tools
