We're seeking a detail-oriented professional who can build and maintain plan benefits for new and existing groups while ensuring accuracy during implementation, renewal, and changes. As our Plan Building Specialist, you'll translate complex benefit structures into functional system configurations that support member understanding.

What makes this role different

✓ Strategic translation: Convert benefits from complex billing codes (ICD10, HCPCS, CPT, CDT) into clear, functional plan structures

✓ Cross-functional support: Work with Implementation and Account Management teams to ensure benefit accuracy throughout client lifecycle

✓ Compliance expertise: Ensure adherence to applicable government regulations while maintaining current knowledge of plan requirements

✓ Quality assurance: Audit plan build work while troubleshooting claims errors and supporting team member development

What You'll Actually Do

Build plan excellence: Support Implementation and Account Management teams by consolidating information during client implementation and renewal to ensure benefit accuracy.

Translate complex codes: Convert benefits from ICD10, HCPCS, CPT, CDT, and other insurance billing codes into functional system configurations.

Configure systems: Set up benefits in claims processing systems while generating benefit summaries for internal and external use to support member and provider understanding.

Ensure compliance: Maintain adherence to applicable government regulations while auditing plan build work of teammates and processing group terminations as needed.

Support operations: Correspond with account managers, coordinators, claims department, and technical areas while troubleshooting claims errors and escalating complex issues.

Develop team capabilities: Support on-boarding and training of new team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
