We're seeking a customer-focused professional who can manage eligibility and enrollment operations while building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and vendors. As our Benefit Eligibility Coordinator, you'll ensure accurate benefit information while serving as the primary contact for day-to-day eligibility needs.

✓ Client relationship focus: Serve as main point of contact for day-to-day eligibility processing including enrollments, changes, and terminations

✓ Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Medical, Dental, Vision, and PBM vendors to resolve access to care issues

✓ Data accuracy emphasis: Ensure eligibility data matches across systems through vendor coordination and discrepancy resolution

✓ Internal partnership: Collaborate with Account Management, TechOps, Data Engineering, and Member Services teams

 

What You'll Actually Do

Manage client relationships: Serve as primary contact for clients and brokers on day-to-day eligibility processing including new hire enrollments, plan changes, dependent enrollment, and terminations.

 

Coordinate vendor communications: Work with Medical, Dental, Vision, and PBM vendors to resolve access to care issues while responding to discrepancies after file transfers.

 

Support internal teams: Research and respond to Account Management team inquiries while working with TechOps and Data Engineering on file-related eligibility items.

 

Ensure data integrity: Maintain constant communication with Member Services team to resolve eligibility-related issues timely and accurately.

 

Process complex cases: Handle various eligibility scenarios while ensuring all contractual obligations are met and documented properly.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Mission

The foundational requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Experience with reporting tools and software

The technical competencies:

  • Proficient computer usage with strong command of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with insurance database systems preferred
  • Quick learner with keen attention to detail

The professional qualities:

  • Collaborative skills to achieve common goals with diverse teams
  • Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
