Responsibilities

Ready to Navigate Complex Healthcare Pricing While Delivering Exceptional Service?

We're seeking a knowledgeable customer service professional who can help members and healthcare providers navigate Reference Based Pricing plans. As our RBP Member Services Representative, you'll use specialized expertise to resolve barriers to care while reducing member frustration through clear communication and problem-solving.

Specialized expertise: Develop deep knowledge of Reference Based Pricing plans and navigation strategies

Dual customer base: Support both members and healthcare providers with complex pricing and benefit questions

Problem-solving focus: Resolve barriers to care while reviewing member benefits and provider payments

Technical proficiency: Navigate multiple RBP partner portals and databases to provide comprehensive support

 

What You'll Actually Do

Provide specialized support: Use interpersonal skills to help members understand RBP plans while decreasing frustration through clear communication and patient guidance.

 

Handle complex inquiries: Manage incoming calls from members and healthcare providers regarding various requests including barrier resolution, benefit reviews, and payment inquiries.

 

Navigate specialized systems: Research information across multiple databases and RBP partner portals to provide accurate, comprehensive responses to complex questions.

 

Demonstrate professionalism: Maintain professional oral and written communication skills while answering questions about member benefits and claim processing navigation.

 

Resolve systematically: Use excellent listening skills with probing questions to understand concerns and overcome objections while meeting performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Mission

The specialized foundation:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year customer service experience in call center environment
  • Previous RBP experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The technical competencies:

  • Strong personal computer usage and Internet proficiency skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
  • Capability to set at desk for prolonged periods while maintaining focus

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for target member services bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
