Responsibilities

Ready to Build Strategic Partnerships That Drive Operational Excellence?

We're looking for a relationship-focused professional who can oversee and monitor TPA operational vendor-partner relationships while ensuring performance excellence. As our Vendor Manager, you'll conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, coordinate issue resolution, and build collaborative partnerships that support business success.

Performance optimization: Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs while conducting comprehensive quarterly reviews

Risk management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships including service disruptions and compliance issues

Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal partners to communicate vendor capabilities and provide training on management processes

 

What You'll Actually Do

Build strategic relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with TPA operational vendors while serving as primary contact for vendor-related issues and escalations.

 

Monitor performance excellence: Track vendor performance against agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs while conducting recurring QBRs and providing constructive feedback.

 

Resolve issues proactively: Address and resolve vendor disputes in timely, effective manner while collaborating with internal partners and implementing corrective actions.

 

Manage risk effectively: Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships while developing contingency plans for service disruptions and compliance issues.

 

Facilitate internal collaboration: Communicate vendor capabilities to relevant stakeholders while establishing recurring operating mechanisms and providing training on best practices.

 

Ensure compliance: Monitor vendor compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while taking corrective action when needed.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Mission

The professional foundation:

  • Associate degree with 3-5 years experience required
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years experience preferred
  • Healthcare Management, Third Party Administration, Audit, Compliance, Contract Management, Risk Management, and Vendor-Relationship Management experience preferred

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with proven track record building professional relationships
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with advanced computer proficiency
  • Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position is $70,000 annually. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
