Who are you?

 

The Vendor Manager will assist the Senior Director Vendor Management & Regulatory Reports with the oversight and monitoring of TPA operational vendor-partner relationships, perform Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and coordinate timely issue resolution or research.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with TPA operational vendors to foster collaboration and communication. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and escalations.
  • Performance Monitoring – Monitor TPA operational vendor performance against agreed-upon SLA’s and KPI’s. Conduct recurring and scheduled QBRs and performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Issue Resolution - Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with TPA operational vendors in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with internal partners as necessary.  Implement corrective actions as necessary to improve TPA operational vendor performance.
  • Risk Management - Assess and mitigate risks associated with TPA operational vendor relationships, including service disruptions and compliance issues. Develop contingency plans to address TPA operational vendor-related risks
  • Collaboration with internal teams - Communicate TPA operational vendor capabilities and performance to relevant internal stakeholders.  Establish a recurring operating mechanism to inform. Provide training and support to internal teams on TPA operational vendor management processes and best practices.
  • Compliance and quality - Ensure TPA operational vendors comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor quality of services delivered and take corrective action if needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: Associate degree 3-5 Years of Experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree 5-8 Years of Experience
  • Healthcare Management, Third Party Administration (TPA), Audit, Compliance, Contract Management, Risk Management, and Vendor-Relationship Management

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position is $70,000 annually. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
