We're seeking an experienced financial professional who can handle sophisticated invoicing operations across multiple systems while supporting month-end processes and client relationship management. As our Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you'll leverage advanced skills to ensure accuracy in complex billing environments.

Multi-system expertise: Work across multiple billing systems including Netsuite, El Dorado, Qiclink, GIAS, and Javelina

Advanced responsibilities: Support month-end closing processes including customer revenue review and deferred revenue allocation

Leadership opportunities: Train and collaborate with colleagues while contributing to process improvement initiatives

Strategic impact: Contribute to financial accuracy and client satisfaction through expert-level accounts receivable management

 

What You'll Actually Do

Manage complex billing: Ensure accurate customer billing across multiple systems while issuing and distributing invoices electronically with precision.

 

Handle advanced processes: Support month-end closing activities including customer revenue review, deferred revenue allocation, and reconciliation processes.

 

Provide expert support: Research complex invoice inquiries and vendor payment discrepancies while assisting other departments with client and vendor issue resolution.

 

Lead documentation efforts: Understand and document sophisticated processes, controls, systems, and workflows while working with third-party payment processors.

 

Mentor team members: Train and collaborate with colleagues while generating adjustment and credit memos and managing ad hoc projects effectively.

 

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Mission

The advanced foundation:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial management with focus on funding and accounting
  • 2-5 years' experience in reconciliations, accounting, or financial operations
  • TPA experience preferred with previous banking and health insurance industry experience

The technical expertise:

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with financial and TPA systems (Netsuite, Qiclink, Javelina preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

The professional competencies:

  • Excellent written communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines while working effectively with leadership
  • Enthusiastic team collaboration approach with ability to train and mentor others
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
