We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who can handle the technical setup and maintenance of client ID card operations. As our Benefits System Specialist, you'll collaborate across departments to ensure members receive accurate ID cards while maintaining compliance with network guidelines and regulations.

What makes this role different

✓ Member connection: Your work ensures members receive accurate ID cards that connect them to their healthcare benefits

✓ Cross-departmental collaboration: Partner with Benefit Eligibility, Data Operations, Product Engineering, Implementation, Sales, and Account Management

✓ Quality assurance: Conduct pre-release audits and self-audits to ensure accuracy in mass print jobs

✓ Compliance expertise: Review network guidelines to ensure cards remain compliant with evolving regulations

What You'll Actually Do

Manage ID card operations: Review and respond to emails and change notices while reviewing and releasing ID card files in Zelis system.

Research and resolve: Investigate ID card issues while creating and maintaining client rules in Zelis to ensure optimal functionality.

Monitor project completion: Track ID card projects through completion while reviewing projects in initial internal review phase.

Ensure quality control: Complete self-audits on all proofs and conduct pre-release audits to ensure members receive correct ID cards during mass printing.

Support sales pipeline: Develop sample cards for clients in sales pipeline while pulling reports to ensure performance goals are met.

Maintain compliance: Review revised network guidelines to ensure cards remain compliant while attending implementation meetings for seamless coordination.

What You Bring to Our Mission

The foundational requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in health administration, Business, or related field preferred
• 1+ years experience with system analysis, data analysis, and/or process improvement
• 2+ years experience in Healthcare Industry

The specialized expertise:

• Experience in processing member enrollment and ID card production strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy in managing member records
• Proficiency in Excel with ability to learn and navigate new software quickly

The professional competencies:

• Meticulous approach to tasks ensuring accuracy and precision in all work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder interaction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex data/eligibility issues
• Collaborative attitude with adaptability to changing priorities and healthcare industry regulations

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
