Responsibilities

Ready to Drive Retention and Growth Through Strategic Account Excellence?

We're seeking a seasoned leader who can deliver annual retention and revenue growth through effective management of Strategic Account Executives. As our VP of Strategic Development, you'll focus on TPA client relationships while driving renewal success, expansion opportunities, and overall performance accountability.

Strategic portfolio focus: Manage strategic and regional TPA clients with significant revenue impact and growth potential

Leadership development: Guide diverse, high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives while instilling standards of excellence

Thought leadership: Represent Personify Health at industry conferences and client events as recognized expert

Revenue intelligence: Provide meaningful insights and leading indicators to leadership through diligent pipeline management

 

What You'll Actually Do

Lead strategic account management: Serve as member of Client Growth Leadership Team to develop consistent standards while guiding high-performing, diverse team.

 

Drive revenue excellence: Manage renewal of existing contracts, expansion of populations/products/services, and overall performance review with outcome accountability.

 

Provide market insights: Deliver meaningful insights and leading indicators of revenue growth and risk through accurate pipeline management and client trend analysis.

 

Represent company externally: Participate in thought leadership presentations, industry conferences, and client events as Personify Health and Commercial Leadership representative.

 

Develop team capabilities: Provide thoughtful feedback, development opportunities, recognition, and ongoing direction through well-prepared meetings and timely reviews.

 

Support cross-functional excellence: Work across departments to improve processes and products while providing recognition to those supporting team success.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Mission

The strategic foundation:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 15+ years experience in population health, health plan, or health system growth
  • Sales and/or Account Management experience with healthcare and data-analytics background required
  • TPA or health plan experience with solid understanding of employee benefits and managed care products

The leadership expertise:

  • 5+ years leading and developing teams in matrix organization without direct authority
  • Proven expertise in account service/consultative selling techniques and product knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce

The professional competencies:

  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of current practices, trends, and marketplace strategies
  • Customer-focused trusted advisor mindset with ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships
  • Organizational agility with understanding of how to navigate through formal and informal networks

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $170,000 to $180,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 40% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
