Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

The Provider Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships between healthcare providers and health plan administration.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for providers and provider platform, ensuring seamless communication, resolving inquiries, and driving provider engagement, resolving inquiries and driving provider engagement.
  • Works to enhance provider satisfaction, streamline operational processes and support the delivery of quality healthcare services.
  • Serve as the TPA’s representative and main contact for healthcare providers.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Address provider inquiries related to claims, contracts, policies, and billing issues.
  • Educate providers on health plan requirements, benefits, and updates.
  • Conduct provider outreach, site visits, and trainings as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve provider concerns and enhance service quality.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 5 years working in the insurance field in a similar environment required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, business or related field preferred.
  • Additional proficiencies in Microsoft suite to include SharePoint, and Smartsheet with data analytics
  • Knowledge of Availity platform preferred.

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Proficiency in software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook Excellent
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak clearly and convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others.
  • Ability to work independently and utilize written resources to solve problems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, workflows, and regulations in the healthcare industry.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $24 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
