Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

The Supervisor of Operational Support is responsible for supervising the daily functions of the Operations Support team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established procedures.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Confers with operation support staff to outline work plan and to assign duties and responsibilities.
  • Confers with Leadership Team and the Extended Leadership Team to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals and objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Maintains knowledge to comply with government regulations as it pertains specifically to Medicare, HIPAA, FMLA and any other regulation impacting claims.
  • Supervises the daily functions of the operations support team. This team processes refunds, voids, overpayment tracking, Medicare, MSP demands, overages, accum transfers, vendor fees and claims-related invoicing, Dialysis program and Zelis, PPO/repricing.
  • Assist in standardizing procedures to improve efficiency of staff.
  • Maintains harmony among staff and resolves grievances.
  • Orders reports to comply with department and company procedures.
  • Responds to more complex inquiries from all other departments, providers, networks, and clients.
  • Review staff for compliance of production and quality standards.
  • Oversees and coordinates training of staff as needed for the operations support team.
  • Communicates and interrelates (both written and verbally) clearly, concisely and respectfully with co-workers and other departments.
  • Implements procedural or administrative policies designed to improve productivity, quality and meet profitability goals.
  • Maintains knowledge of government regulations as it pertains to claims payments and generally recognized claims standards.
  • Investigates and responds to letters of inquiry from plans, providers, networks, and government agencies.
  • Manages employee timekeeping and time-off requests.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 5 years of TPA experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related degree desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare, HIPAA, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements impacting claims and healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, overseeing daily operations, and implementing process improvements.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional communication and managing complex inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior involvement in training and mentoring staff is strongly preferred.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $72,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
