Who are you?

As a Business Analyst  at Personify Health, you will serve as a bridge between technical teams, data engineering, and business stakeholders supporting the Activate project. Building on foundational analyst experience, you will take a proactive role in managing complex, data-intensive projects and writing documentation for technical features and functionality. Your ability to independently query and manipulate data using SQL will be crucial to your success in providing insights and triaging issues. You will support the intake, prioritization, and execution of technical initiatives across teams, while championing consistency, documentation, and analytical accuracy. Your work will directly contribute to improving the experience for our clients across the Activate business.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

• Advanced Data Analysis: Leverage SQL to understand data, provide ad hoc reporting, triage issues, and support decision-making across initiatives.
• Project Leadership: Drive requirements gathering and documentation for data engineering efforts, system enhancements, and platform migrations.
• Cross-functional Communication: Translate business needs into technical specifications, and do the same in reverse, communicating complex technical issues with business stakeholders.
• Documentation & QA: Maintain structured, auditable documentation including business requirements, user stories, data dictionaries, and process flows.
• Problem Solving: Investigate data discrepancies or reporting issues, collaborate with engineers to identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline project workflows, enhance intake processes, and improve data operations.

What you bring to the Personify Health Team:

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or TPA environments.
• Proficient in SQL with ability to write and optimize complex queries; exposure to additional tools like Python, R, or BI platforms is a plus. Experience in Snowflake also a plus.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe), and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts including ETL, data pipelines, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Comfortable working across multiple initiatives and prioritizing independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience interfacing with clients and other external stakeholders
