Who are you?

Maintains and processes eligibility and enrollments (new hires, terminations and changes) in existing and new accounts to meet stated goals for quality and turn-around time.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

• Input eligibility data from enrollment forms and portal requests meeting department accuracy standards
• Process enrollment adds and changes through the electronic file load process, also working any reports generated through that process
• Process terminations and other changes within the unique timelines established for specific accounts
• Review and determine eligibility and enrollment on assigned workload
• Request and process missing or additional information on questionable enrollments via telephone or in written form from clients/participants
• Determine appropriate eligibility for special enrollees and late entrants on new groups or renewal enrollments in accordance with plan documents
• Function as a back-up for other eligibility specialists as needed, completing tasks timely and accurately
• All other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year related healthcare work experience preferred 
• Experience with reporting tools and software.
• Ability to work onsite in office environment.

• Proficient in computer usage with a strong command of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with insurance database systems is an advantage.

• Demonstrate a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work closely with other departments to accomplish goals, meet deadlines & clarify needs.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
