Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in vendor management and a passion for delivering quality, cost-effective solutions in healthcare? Personify Health is seeking a seasoned professional to lead vendor relationships across our evolving ecosystem—playing a pivotal role in sourcing, onboarding, and integrating partners for our new Claims Platform. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and internal business stakeholders to evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts with critical SLAs, and drive accountability through performance reviews and QBRs. You'll be the go-to for issue resolution, cost optimization, and risk mitigation—ensuring vendor partnerships deliver excellence for both Personify Health and our customers.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Vendor selection and evaluation–Work with finance counterparts to identify potential vendors and conduct thorough evaluations based on quality, cost, reliability and service. Develop and refine criteria for vendor selection and assess against this criteria.
  • Play an active role in contract negotiation–Work with finance to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors inclusive of critical SLAs and KPIs for both the company and our customers. Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship Management–Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and communication. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and escalations.
  • Performance Monitoring–Monitor suppliers performance against agreed-upon SLA’s and KPI’s. Conduct recurring and scheduled QBRs and performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.
  • Issue Resolution–Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with vendors in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with internal partners as necessary. Implement corrective actions as necessary to improve vendor performance.
  • Cost Management–analyze vendor pricing and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Work with finance and procurement teams to manage budgets and forecast spending. Achieve annual cost-out targets
  • Risk Management–Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, including service disruptions and compliance issues. Develop contingency plans to address vendor-related risks
  • Collaboration with internal teams–Communicate vendor capabilities and performance to relevant internal stakeholders. Establish a recurring operating mechanism to inform. Provide training and support to internal teams on vendor management processes and best practices.
  • Reporting and Documentation–Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, performance metrics, and communications. Define document storage strategy and implement this strategy. Prepare reports and presentations for internal leadership on vendor performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Compliance and quality–Ensure vendors comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor quality of services delivered and take corrective action if needed.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 15 years’ experience in vendor management, sourcing, or related field
  • 10 years’ experience leading organizations or managing teams; leading in a matrix environment is a plus
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Healthcare or a healthcare related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in related field

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 15% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
