Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

The International Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads to build the sales pipeline, supporting the Regional Sales Manager (RSM). This role involves a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting, account mapping, research, and initial client engagement. The BDR will nurture relationships, handle objections, and assist in moving prospects through the sales cycle. Success in this role requires strong communication, research skills, and the ability to understand and articulate business value.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

 

Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Following up on inbound leads and campaign responders.
  • Sourcing outbound leads through research and prospecting.
  • Qualifying prospects based on established guidelines.
  • Setting up meetings and demos for the RSM.

 

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Managing top-of-the-funnel sales activity.
  • Creating and following up on target accounts.
  • Strategising and executing outbound prospecting campaigns.
  • Maintaining active prospect relationship management.

Research and Analysis:

  • Account mapping and buyer group creation.
  • Conducting research using online resources like LinkedIn Sales Nav, Lusha and 6Sense.
  • Delivering initial prospect analysis to the RSM.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Working closely with the RSM, demand gen marketing
  • Coordinating with the RSM to keep Salesforce records updated.
  • Helping with messaging and targeting with marketing teams.

Client Engagement:

  • Conducting initial calls/meetings/demonstrations.
  • Assisting in prospect follow-ups.
  • Handling objections and building value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Some experience in an inside sales role.
  • Demonstrated history in exceeding performance goals and quotas.
  • Experience selling enterprise products/services with a focus on value-based selling methodologies.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications
