Who are you?

As Senior Director, Product Management – Data Platform, you will be responsible for our data platform and data products including internal data products (data lake, data mart, and our data processing engine), data enrichment products, analytic products, and standard reporting. These products have an awareness of about 270 million people and have positively impacted the health of over 150 million people. You will be responsible for driving the development and management of initiatives related to the data platform and data products including creating and refining the product strategy, requirements, launch, and optimizing business performance.

You will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising Product Managers. You will set a positive tone and mentor your team so that their performance and the product’s performance are at their highest levels.

Additionally, you will drive cross-team and cross-functional collaboration to create a shared understanding of the strategic big picture and enable flawless execution on the details.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

• Lead data platform and data product initiatives in accordance with roadmap and business goals
• Align product managers, design, researchers, and engineering partners to a shared vision and thoroughly vetted requirements
• Shape user discovery and insights in pursuit of ongoing quality improvement and usability
• Conduct strategy and capacity planning in harmony with product vision
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle and associated stakeholder communications
• Participate in market research activities including competition analysis, vendor exploration, regulatory needs, and customer meetings
• Contextualize and prepare updates on product performance for cross-functional leaders

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and launch
• Experience in healthcare data management, data science, or related healthcare technology experience
• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferre

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 20% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
