Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

The Strategic Sales Associate works hand in hand with our TPA Sales Team to support all aspects of the sales process up to the implementation handoff. The SSA Team works closely together and supports each other daily.

To be successful in this role, the SSA will nurture relationships, build value, handle objections, create urgency, open, and assist in the management of the sales cycle, and collaborate strategically with the seller and broker to create a sales pipeline that exceeds quota expectations.

In the role of Strategic Sales Associate, you will wear many hats, and your focus will be imperative.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Sales Enablement – Supporting Sales Reps *Top Priority
    • Solid understanding of tech stack
      • Salesforce
      • Microsoft Office Tools
      • Seismic
    • Help with sourcing most recent messaging, win themes, and levers.
    • Opportunity creation and processes
    • Assist with setting calendar invites, managing/organizing internal/external related to opportunities and sales

  • Outreach Related – Pipeline Generation
    • Solid understanding of Salesforce
    • Perpetual clean up, accounts and contacts
    • Identify and outreach to Consultants / Brokers / Prospects
    • Active broker, prospect, and pipeline relationship management
    • Broker / Prospect focused buyer’s groups expansion, researching appropriate contacts, becoming more granular and personalized with decisionmakers/influencers.

  • Opportunity Support – Qualification and beyond
    • Understand our Sales Process
    • Active pipeline support
    • Attend broker calls if appropriate, attend all internal prep meetings, and take notes/make any necessary changes to presentations, or proposals as needed.
    • Create prospect / broker specific PowerPoint presentations with Reps input/direction and culling from relevant decks (locating decks within SharePoint if they are accessible or reaching out to deck owners.)
    • Assist and support RFP / RFI / Proposals and Order Forms. Filling out, configuring, adjusting, proof reading, final overview of proposals, etc.
    • Coordinate final proposal document production for submission
    • Support case requests within SF, legal/contracting/etc.
    • Update notes, contact roles, products, throughout life cycle of Opportunity in SF.
    • Gathering internal resources and departments to support contracting phase.
    • Provide support in opportunity strategy and progression.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

  • Solid understanding of TPA’s and Health Plans
  • Minimum of 2 years working for a TPA, Health Plan, or in Benefits
  • Outgoing, positive, friendly, and team player
  • Highly responsive and accountable
  • Demonstrated history in exceeding performance goals and quotas
  • Strong communications skills and understanding of how to identify customer needs and map business value
  • Adept and consistent in using Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
  • Internet and research savvy using online tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo
  • Proficient in managing multiple simultaneous qualification and sales processes
  • Strong broker and customer understanding ranging between core job deliverables to solving business problems
  • Able to quickly assess a business situation or scenario and quickly develop and drive plans to address challenges or capture opportunities
  • Willingness to accept and contribute new ideas and adapt to a rapidly changing market

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $65,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for up to $40,000 target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
