Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

The role of Claims Specialist is primarily responsible for the daily activities of the claims processing team. They perform the claims efficiently for the clients of Virgin Pulse and Healthcomp.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • The ability to adhere to a work schedule and regularly attend work to meet client and production requirements.
  • The ability to work in a high paced office, call center environment.
  • The ability to work on a computer and multi-task (such as talk and type)
  • The ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers, clients, and customers.
  • The ability to focus on work and consistently perform tasks in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • The ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health Team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office environment, including Word and Outlook. Microsoft Excel and knowledge of insurance database systems a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and
  • other employees of the organizations.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer orientation.
